The construction of the power plant has been completed with the technical execution of Würth Solar and BEL Energy as the development and realization partner. Successful connection to Enel’s medium-voltage grid achieved by August 2011, and from that point on, Bovolone PV plant has been producing over 5% above original expectation. The total surface area of this project is about 17,400 m² (fenced area). The PV plant design is based on the polycrystalline module type Yingli Solar YL235P 29b with 235 W peak power per module. In order to achieve the best energy efficiency, inverters from Emerson Control Techniques GmbH are used.
The photovoltaic system produces 0.97 million kilowatt-hours per year and reduces CO2 emissions by approximately 854 tons per year.
