The company has a 15-year solid track record in developing and funding over 70 utility-scale green energy projects. We maintain operations across 14 countries with offices in Germany, Spain, Italy, France, the USA, Colombia, Mexico, and Peru.
Job description
You will manage our integrated renewable energy projects development activities in Hungary. Your primary duties will require working closely with management teams, all local stakeholders including regulatory and permitting bodies in the energy and electricity sectors, group subsidiaries, investors, business partners and external advisors.
Tasks
Proactively originate, manage, and support the development, construction and operation of integrated energy solutions’ projects in Hungary.
Manage and support the licensing process of the installation of our thermal energy storage solutions in accordance with the applicable regulations in Hungary.
Manage and support the process of securing land lease agreements, grid connection access and all other permitting and licenses for construction of the projects.
Identify, negotiate, and conclude supply contracts with local suppliers, consultants and service providers as necessary.
Work closely with the engineering and technical teams in providing guidance on client requirements and thereby make significant contributions to the solution design.
Coordinate the construction of projects and set up structures for the operational phase of said projects.
Liaise with sales and financing teams, scouts, JV partners and monitor the sales and financing activities.
Prepare relevant project documentation and review external contracts with assistance from the legal advisors.
Develop and evaluate investment proposals, project risk assessments and submissions to authorities.
Create and manage project budgets and monitor project portfolio funding needs.
Maintain active communication channels and manage relationships with management, partners, consultants and advisors to ensure optimal project development.
Manage project timelines, report regular project status, feasibility, project risks and budgets.
Position Requirments
Proven track record in developing renewable (PV, Wind, Biomass etc.) or other energy projects from green field.
Thorough understanding of the permitting requirements and the development process of energy projects in Hungary.
Experience in designing or solid understanding of technical designs of energy projects such as installation of an industrial boiler or a power plant would be an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of experience in the energy industry. Experience in renewable energy project development would be an advantage.
Bachelors or master’s degree in engineering/economics/business or a related field.
Exemplary organizational skills with strong attention to details and follow-through.
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
Inclination to data analysis and data management.
Self-driven and able to work independently with little direct oversight, performs well in a team.
Flexibility and willingness to work in a small office.
Applicants must be fluent in Hungarian and English. Additional European languages desirable.
Availability to travel (30%).

Ihr Profil
- Abgeschlossene kaufmännische Ausbildung mit Weiterbildung zum Bilanzbuchhalter, oder ein abgeschlossenes betriebswirtschaftliches Studium, idealerweise mit Schwerpunkt Rechnungswesen/Controlling
- Berufserfahrung im Rechnungswesen oder Controlling- Hohe Zahlenaffinität und sehr gute Excel-Kenntnisse; sicherer Umgang mit MS Office
